THE WAYNE COUNTY HUMANE SOCIETY ANNOUNCES 2005 '”CALENDAR COVER GIRL” Meet Trixie, the cover girl for the 2005 Wayne County Humane Society calendar! Trixie was born in October of 2002 in Kinston, NC and is of Pomeranian descent. She stands 8 inches tall, 16 inches long and is a perfect 7-6-5. Along with her flowing snow white hair and adoring dark brown eyes, she has naturally bright pink toenails, which save her time at the salon. Being free spirited and fun loving, she also has a serious side. She is very protective of her owner. Trixie is not to fond of big mean dogs, but if they are neutered and vaccinated, that's in their favor. Her most embarrassing secret is that she loves to play with those colorful cat toy Bell-balls! In her spare time she loves to play with kids, frolic down at the beach and spend quality time with her family and friends. Being a recipient of a cutest dog award at a contest in Raleigh, she is sure to do a wonderful job representing the Wayne County Humane Society. Trixie currently resides in Goldsboro with her owner, Ashley Witt. Miss Witt was the highest bidder in the WCHS 2005 calendar cover auction. She will also receive a gift basket and Trixie will also grace the home page of the WCHS website. 2005 calendars are on sale now for $5.00 each, with all proceeds going to support the programs of the WCHS.
