THE WAYNE COUNTY HUMANE SOCIETY ANNOUNCES 2007 ”CALENDAR COVER BOY” Heeeeeere's Harley! Our 2007 calendar 'cover boy' is a dashing silver/blue and tan Yorkshire Terrier! Standing proudly at 8 inches tall and about 6 pounds, he's all boy!! He maybe small in stature, but he has a big heart!!! "Stinky" as he is known to his closest friends, was born in November of 2004 and currently resides with his owner/mom, Ashley Wigginton in Mount Olive. He is very peculiar about his appearance, always wanting to look his best, of course! "He looks forward to baths and a good makeover", his stylist, Miss Ashley says. "It's mostly because of me!". She is a professional groomer and has her own salon. When he goes out on the town, he sports his spiked Harley Davidson collar, and with his beautiful piercing brown eyes, it just drives the ladies wild!!! Some of his hobbies include swimming, napping, getting massages from 'granny', and playing with his toys. He loves to lounge around in his favorite t-shirt and snack on liver snaps. He happens to be very photogenic and loves to ham it up for the camera. His favorite movie is 'Lady and the Tramp' and he just loves to give and get kisses! He can't stand to be separated from his 'mom' for a minute and must have his 'Mr. Pig' toy before going to bed! Although being a really sweet and easy going kind of fellow, he's not to fond of birds and people he's not familiar with. Even with a little attitude, he will represent the Wayne County Humane Society with class. One of his most favorite things to do is ride over to Clinton for the afternoon with his best buddy Shadow, a black Chic-a-poo, also owned by Miss Ashley. They all head over to the Dairy Queen for a little vanilla ice cream and hang out with friends!
